How it differs from a standard clean

Coil, filters and drain tray washed, with a basic operating check. Right for a unit cleaned regularly every 4–6 months.
70% strip-down ฿800
The blower and main components come out for washing, but the evaporator coil stays in place. Suits a unit starting to build up film but not badly fouled.
Full deep clean ฿2,000
Everything comes out, coil included, and is washed separately. Reaches deposits that on-site spraying cannot — for units left a long time or smelling musty.

Signs a unit needs the full strip-down
- Last cleaned over a year ago, or you cannot remember when.
- A musty or sour smell on start-up, even if it was cleaned recently.
- Airflow still weak, or cooling still poor, after a standard clean.
- Visible black film or slime on the coil fins when you shine a light in.
- Someone in the household has dust allergies or asthma.
- The unit is in a dusty spot — near a main road, or close to the sea.

฿2,000 is the price for a wall-mounted unit. Other types take different time, equipment and manpower. The starting prices below cover 18,000–36,000 BTU units; anything larger is quoted before work starts.

What is the evaporator coil, and why remove it?
It is the finned block the air passes through to be cooled. Grime and biofilm settle deep between the fins, where on-site spraying cannot fully reach. Taking it out and washing it separately gets it visibly cleaner.
How long does it take?
Considerably longer than a standard clean, since the unit is dismantled and reassembled. The exact time depends on the model and where it is installed — we will tell you once we have seen your photos.
Do I need this every time?
No. If the unit is cleaned every 4–6 months, a standard clean is enough. The deep clean is for units left a long time or with genuine build-up.
What does the warranty cover?
All cleaning levels carry a 60-day workmanship warranty. If something related to the clean goes wrong in that window, we come back.
Will a deep clean make it cold again?
If build-up is the cause, the difference is clear. If the cause is a refrigerant leak or the compressor, cleaning will not help — see the not cooling page for how we tell the difference.
